寄附講座「文化から環境を考える」2017年度概要

 

【授業概要】

文化としての環境は「環境」を自然科学、社会科学、人文科学の3要素の統合体として分析し、この半世紀の日本社会が経験した環境破壊と環境再生のプロセスを、実態社会の動態として捉え、環境と調和した持続可能な社会発展の原型を日本の地域社会から探求するものである。

第一部に「文化としての環境」の基礎として環境思想、自然観、行政と市民社会、第二部で「文化としての環境」の分析と総合の手法と発信について学習に入る。外部の観察者ではなく、当事者としての立場で「場」に立脚し、課題解決の糸口をチームワークで導き、検証を加え、発表するというアクションリサーチを用いる。最終的にプレゼンテーションでの提言を地域へ還元する。

【シラバス情報】

副題 Basic Training for Fieldwork
授業概要 Understanding environment though culture should be analyzed the connotation of environment as a combination with Natural Science, Social Science and Humanities.
Students are required to seek out the concept about sustainable social development from their own aspect attained by the fieldwork, the core competence of this lecture.
At least one time participation for the fieldwork proposed on the several times during the lecture’s period is necessary for all the students of this course.This class has four parts as below.Thinking the balance between “Human and Nature” to understand the general concept of cultural anthropology and create your innovative solution beyond the specific case model and methods.Final presentation providing feedback to local communities essential as final evaluation.

Course aims and methods

Understanding the concept of culture based on Human and Nature.
Develop thoughts on rural and urban relationships
Develop the skill of concept working and presentation
Active participation, discussion, expression and sharing
Readings the basic text about Cultural studies and cultural anthropology

事前・事後学習の内容 Reading the textbook to submit your findings after finishing fieldwork.
